On the blog again

Many days have passed since our last post. We are now in the South of France staying at my uncle for the week. But let's get back to where we left...
We came back from the thallassotherapy all cleaned and relaxed to spend the weekend at Severine's parents. On Sunday we celebrated the wedding with Severine's family and had everybody to come over and eat ham, drink wine, and play petanque.
Monday morning... actually more around noon, we left Brittany to spend some time at Severine's grandparents in Chatelaillon-Plage, a small city on the west coast, near La Rochelle (between Nantes and Bordeaux). After several rainy days, it really felt like vacation to enjoy cloudless skies by the beach. We did a ot of reading, Life of Pi" for Severine, and for me, the last Harry Potter!
On Thursday morning Severine's uncle took us by his oyster farm to pick some clams. We collected 16 pounds between Severine, her father, her brother and I! The next day we paid a short visit to my Aunt who's living on "l'Ile d'Oleron", an island nearby.
We left Chatelaillon-Plage last Saturday and went to Nantes to spend the weekend at some friends, Tony and Mumu. As usual we ate a lot!
Tuesday we took the road accross France to go to Espeluche, a small village in provence, approximately 2 hours south of Lyon. We camped overnight in a small farm in "La Creuse", a department in the center of France.
We arrived at my uncle's, two days ago. Yesterday we went hiking in the surrounding mountains but were not able to see anything because of the fog!
